Majuli Kaziranga Package

Day 01: Guwahati- Majuli:

Meet and assist by our representative at the Guwahati Airport/Railway Station. Drive for Jorhat. On the way you can watch beautiful greeneries and tea plantations. On arrival leave for Nimati Ghaat (10km from Jorhat). Catch the ferry service that will take you to Majuli Island, the largest riverine island in the world and home to a number of satras. Overnight stay in hotel/Lodge.

Day 02: Majuli-Kaziranga:

After breakfast walk around the village to a nearby monastery, mesmerizing landscape of rice fields, water meadows and fish traps, meet the local Mishing people and learn about Neo-Vaishnavite philosophy at one of Majuli’s ancient satras. Afternoon leave for Nimati Ghaat, and drive for Kaziranga National Park-The World Heritage Site is the oldest park in Assam & is located on the bank of the Brahmaputra River. On arrival check-in at your resort. Evening relaxed and overnight stay in the resort.

Day 03: Kaziranga-Guwahati:

Early morning enjoy Elephant safari and Jeep safari at Kaziranga National Park. After breakfast drive for Guwahati. Check-in to the hotel. In the evening Cruise on river Brahmaputra (on additional charges) or visit to local market for shopping. Back to hotel for overnight.

Day 04: Guwahati Departure:

After breakfast if time permit than visit to one of the most revered temple, the Kamakhya than proceed for Guwahati Airport/Railway Station for onward destination.
